instant replay
Choose a video or clip of an action, and then pick a part of the original clip and slow it down to create an instant replay. Show both the original action as well as the slow-mo instant replay!
For this assignment, I created an instant replay of one of the defensive tackles made by the Eagles in 2019. The goal was to find a clip and edit part of it to create a slow mo replay of the action. I choose to find an Eagles video because I am from West Chester, Pa and therefore a big fan of this team. The NFL always has high impact plays and I thought one of them would be a great instant replay video. The broadcasting networks always do replays when there was a good play in a game, and my goal was to create one of my own.
I used iMovie to create my clip and started by cropping the whole video for the individual play I wanted. Then, I cropped part of that clip and put it in slow motion to create the instant replay effect. I used a transition to help make my video smoother and not just two raw clips that have an abrupt transition. Since this was my second week of using iMovie, it was much easier to use the editing tools so my finished video was edited much better than the videos I made last week.
