I absolutely loved this web assignment. I already had a Pinterest account coming into this class, but starting a whole new board was a little overwhelming. What kind of color scheme did I want? Did I want the room to feel cozy or light and airy? I decided to go with light colors like white and light pink with gold accents as seen on the mirror frame and some of the bedding. I prefer warm colors and I wear a lot of pink, so I think the colors match my personality pretty well.

I have always wanted a window seat, so I made sure I incorporated that in the very beginning. Next was the bed, and I have always had a white comforter but the one I found has more detailing and gives it more character. When I first saw the chandelier, I was unsure whether or not to add it, but it gives the room something unique and the colors were so pretty. After the first few pictures, picking the rest was super easy and everything fell into place. From picking a color palette to finding curtains and bedding to match, I felt like this was a way I could express myself in just a few pictures.
