Choose an emotion (happy, sad, excited, hyper, sleepy, suprised, inspired, ect..) and then choose three songs that elect that emotion. Name emotion, the song, and why it makes you feel that way. This can be done in three seperate tweets to allow for character count. Have fun with this!

There are at least a hundred songs that make me nostalgic. It was hard to narrow it down to just three that take me back to the early 2000’s. For reference, I was born in 2000, so these are the songs I grew up to listening on the radio.

1. The first song Just Dance by Lady Gaga (2008) makes me think of the Wii game, Just Dance, which I used to play religiously with my sister. I remember rushing home from school with her to play before doing our homework. 

2. The second song Hips Don’t Lie by Shakira (2006) I listened to right when it came out, but my most vivid memory of the song is middle school. Seventh grade was the year I started taking Spanish class, and my teacher put this song on literally every day at the beginning of class. I’m not sure how I never got tired of the song after hearing it daily for a whole nine months. 

3. The final song Evacuate The Dancefloor by Cascada (2009) reminds me of car rides with my mom. She absolutely hated this song, so my sister and I always had to beg her to keep it on. Unfortunately for her, we won most of the time and this might have been the most popular song on the radio so we could always find it playing on some station.
